How to spot FAKE pink label Juicy Couture clothing

I know there's a lot of guides out there on how to spot a fake Juicy item, but here's another one.
I will agree with everyone who says, "If you want real Juicy Couture go to a department store and spend the money!" That is really the only way youare guaranteed to get the real deal. I recently purchased a really nice fake set and thought I would share with you my findings based on my geparisons.
I've found the fit to be one of the things that set the fakes apart. Use your brain! If it you are looking at Juicycargopants size LARGE and it says the waist measures 28 inches (on a large?) it's a FAKE! But there are also good fakes out there that run larger. Real Juicy runs snug and YES their sizing differs from set to set. For instance, I tried on a Lady Muck in Nordstr*ms and it had a really short rise, at the same time I tried on another color (the name escapes me at this time)that had a higher rise. All this everyone knows so I will get onto other differences...
I am geparing a set I purchased from Nordstr*ms against a set I know is fake. Both cargo sets have the pink and brown label that came out about a year and a half ago.On the outside there are not obvious differences in appearance. You really have to pay attention. The one thing I noticed on the outside was the placement of the snaps on the pocket. They are perfectly centered on the real ones but slightly off centered on the fakes. The labels have obvious differences but the only thing you'd notice in the labels (without looking at them side by side) is the way it's sewn on. The real label is stitched in two areas and the fake ones are sewn all the way across. Also the content label on the real label reads, "Made in America." The fake one says, "Made in America of Imported Fabric." The content label is parallel to the top of the Juicy label. The fake ones are all over the place - centered or sloppily attached at the top.
Here are some pics. The top pic is off a jacket and the bottom label is off a pair of pants. There are slight differences from the size of the crest to the crown, lettering and even the placement of where the size is. (geparing Juicy labels is kind of like geparing Kate Spade labels.)

There are stitching differences too, most of which is either overkill on the fakes or sloppy. On my fake jacketthe serged edge along the zipperis unevenand peeks out from under the zipperwhereas on the real jacket the serged edge is even and is gepletely hiddenunder the zipper. Then there's the ZIPPER. A lot of sellers say, YKK zipper. That does not mean it's real. My fake also has a YKK zipper but check it out! Someone messed up on my fake BIG TIME! The bottom of the zipper does not support the size of the actual zipper. Because of this the zipper does not zip up easily. They're getting pretty good at faking the J's tho.

I have not washed the fake set yet, so I have no idea how it is going to wash. My biggest concern on the fake set is the zipper is going to break. If you are a bidder, check out who you're buying from. Read the feedback and believe what people write about the seller. FIND the negative remarks and see if it is an authenticity issue. If you pay with Paypal you can get your money back. You will have to take your set to a Juicy Couture counter and have someone authenticate it (or not.) You have to have someone say it is a fake and I think it has to be in writing. If the seller is backed by okay it will say what they're covered for (most sellers it's $2,000 others $200) Paypal will refund what you paid if you send it back to the seller (upon notification from Paypal to do so.) In the past fraudulant sellers would drain their accounts to prevent Paypal from taking their money back and Paypal would tell you the money was not available but you won the decision. I was recently told that is not the case anymore. They will refund your money even if the seller does not have money in their account. Take the time and call Paypal should you have any questions. If you are an okay seller selling fake "anything." WATCH OUT ~ it's ILLEGAL and you could go to jail. Is your freedom worth it? GOOD LUCK to you all, I hope this helps someone :)
